Blog fail!

This post title is relevant in more ways than one.  Basically, my lack of posting and the fact that my new upgrade to WordPress 2.8.4 just saved my post draft, sans text.  Anyway, I vowed to never have to make a post like this one, but here it is: I suck at keeping up on the posting.  Well, you can rest assured that in the time between my last post and now, I’ve been gathering topics ranging from more programming tips to my adventures with my newly acquired Apple TV.  So sit back and wait for the post explosion.

Well, really, you don’t have to sit there and wait, since it’s not going to be today.

Game Review: Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition

wii_resident-evil-4-wii-editionAre you even kidding me with this game?  I played it for a while this weekend while my wife and the boys were visiting her family in northeastern Arizona.  I don’t like horror movies at all, mainly because I don’t like to be scared, but I’ll tell you what, I do like a good “survival horror” game.  I had myself scared so bad that on Saturday night at 10PM (when I remembered), I couldn’t bring myself to go water the garden in the back yard.

I’m giving it a 10 out 10 on my completely imaginary and arbitrary scale of video game awesomeness.  The controls are easy to master, the puzzles aren’t overly difficult to solve and the arsenal you have available makes me cry tears of joy.  You know a game is good when it leaves a lasting impression on you.  For example, if I ever hear a chainsaw in the distance again, I will probably drop to the ground, curl up in a little ball and weep uncontrollably.  It’s that good.

Movie Review: Pirates of the Caribbean series

First movie: Genius.

Second movie: Meh.

Third movie: WTF? How many different guys is Keira Knightley going to kiss?

They really went out of their way to kill this franchise. (And yes, I only just got around to seeing the movie.)
